If the fireplace was the focal point of the design, the pool was the driving force. The pool had to be designed with the thought of swimming laps for the adults, and a play area for the children. So the beautiful raised walls and designated sun bathing deck double as jumping points for recreation. With the water features flowing, and the fireplace running, the backyard turns in to a resort in the evenings. We even restored an old family dining table with our left-over granite tile.
